My County Wine Tours – Prince Edward County

By booking, submitting an inquiry, making payment, or participating in a tour with My County Wine Tours (“MCWT”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Tour Services

My County Wine Tours provides transportation and customized tour experiences throughout Prince Edward County, including wineries, breweries, cideries, distilleries, cocktail destinations, restaurants, and other approved stops.

Tour itineraries are customized according to availability, guest preferences, operating hours, weather conditions, and other factors. While we strive to follow requested itineraries, locations and schedules may occasionally require modification.

MCWT reserves the right to substitute stops or adjust routes when necessary.

2. Booking Requests and Confirmation

Submitting an inquiry or booking request does not guarantee a reservation.

Bookings are only considered confirmed once:

Availability has been verified
Any required deposit or payment has been received
A confirmation email has been issued

MCWT reserves the right to decline bookings at its discretion.

3. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate booking information
  • Arriving at agreed pickup locations at the scheduled time
  • Following all safety instructions provided by the driver or guide
  • Conducting themselves respectfully toward staff, drivers, venues, and other guests

Guests are responsible for their own purchases, tasting fees, meals, gratuities, and incidental expenses unless specifically stated otherwise.

4. Age Requirements

Guests consuming alcohol must meet the legal drinking age requirements in Ontario (19 years or older).

Government-issued photo identification may be requested by participating venues.

MCWT is not responsible if a venue refuses service due to age restrictions or identification requirements.

5. Alcohol Consumption and Guest Conduct

Guest safety remains our highest priority.

MCWT reserves the right to refuse transportation, terminate a tour, or remove any participant if a guest:

  • Appears excessively intoxicated
  • Behaves aggressively or abusively
  • Creates a safety concern
  • Damages property
  • Harasses staff, venue employees, or other guests
  • Engages in illegal activity

No refunds will be issued if transportation or participation is denied due to inappropriate conduct.

6. Vehicle Damage, Cleaning, and Excessive Mess Charges

Guests are responsible for damages caused during transportation.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Vehicle damage
  • Excessive spills
  • Excessive dirt or debris
  • Vomiting or bodily fluid cleanup
  • Smoking-related cleaning
  • Professional detailing requirements

Cleaning fees may range from $150–$500+, depending on severity and actual costs incurred.

MCWT reserves the right to charge the booking contact for repair or cleaning expenses.

7. Transportation Delays and Timing

MCWT will make every reasonable effort to operate according to planned schedules.

However, we are not liable for delays resulting from:

  • Traffic
  • Weather
  • Road closures
  • Venue delays
  • Mechanical issues
  • Events beyond our control

Tour durations and arrival times are approximate.

8. Cancellations and Refund Policy
Guest Cancellations

  • Cancellations more than 14 days before the scheduled tour date: full refund less any non-refundable booking fees
  • Cancellations 7–14 days before tour date: 50% refund
  • Cancellations less than 7 days before the tour date: non-refundable
  • No-shows are non-refundable

Refund processing times may vary depending on payment providers.

9. MCWT Cancellations

MCWT reserves the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to:

  • Severe weather
  • Unsafe road conditions
  • Vehicle issues
  • Insufficient bookings
  • Staff illness
  • Circumstances beyond our control

Where possible, guests may receive:

  • A rescheduled booking
  • Account credit
  • Refund at MCWT’s discretion

10. Weather Policy

Tours operate in most weather conditions.

Weather alone does not automatically qualify for cancellation or refunds unless MCWT determines travel conditions are unsafe.

11. Liability Waiver

Participation in tours and activities involves inherent risks.

By participating, guests voluntarily accept all risks associated with:

  • Transportation
  • Alcohol consumption
  • Walking on uneven surfaces
  • Venue conditions
  • Weather conditions
  • Personal injuries
  • Third-party venue activities

MCWT shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury
  • Loss of personal property
  • Delayed transportation
  • Venue-related incidents
  • Guest actions
  • Third-party services

Liability shall be limited to the amount paid directly to MCWT for the applicable booking.

12. Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for all personal belongings.

MCWT is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items left in vehicles or venues.

Any recovered items may be returned at the guest’s expense.

13. Photography and Marketing

Photos or videos may occasionally be taken during tours for promotional purposes.

Guests who do not wish to appear in promotional material should notify MCWT before the tour begins.

14. Website Content

Information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only.

MCWT may update pricing, tours, availability, descriptions, and content without notice.

15. Privacy

Information submitted through booking forms or inquiries will only be used for business operations, booking management, customer communication, and service improvement purposes.

MCWT does not sell personal information to third parties.

16. Agreement

By using this website, submitting an inquiry, making payment, or participating in a tour, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
